Kendall Taylor

Licensed Funeral Director, Crematory Licensee, Crematory Manager

Kendall is the manager and operator for East Caroline Crematory and the pet side, Everlasting Companions Pet Crematory. He is also a Captain on Deep Run Fire/Rescue. His first pet started out as a goldfish. He later convinced his parents to get a cat, Tinkerbell, and now has two dogs, Roxy and Toby.


William B. “Buddy” Taylor

Buddy and his wife Clara have been married over fifty years. They have two children, Bill and Karen who are co-owners of East Carolina Crematory along with four grandchildren. He is a member of the Deep Run First Baptist Church, the Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge and the Lenoir County Shrine Club.


William B. “Bill” Taylor, II

Owner, Licensed Funeral Director, President, Crematory Licensee

Bill became a licensed Funeral Director in 1996 and is one of the co-owners of the Corporation. In addition he is a licensed Crematory Operator.


He and his wife Christine have been married over 30 years and have two children, Elizabeth and Briley, and four grandchildren. Over the years they have had a menagerie of animals ranging from dogs to turtles that are family also. Bill and his family are members of Rivermont Baptist Church. In addition, he serves as a member of Lenoir County Economic Development Board and is a Volunteer with Deep Run Fire/Rescue.


William B. “Briley” Taylor, III

Licensed Funeral Director, Crematory Licensee

Briley is the son of Bill and Christine Taylor. He is married to Kayla Foy Taylor and they have two beautiful children, Easton and Autumn. Briley grew up in a home where pets were always present and has kept that tradition going with their family dog, Stretch.


Karen Taylor Keene

Owner, Licensed Funeral Director, Secretary, Crematory Licensee

Karen has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1995 and is also a licensed Crematory Operator. She is also a co-owner of the corporation. 


Karen and her husband Mark are members of the Deep Run First Baptist church. They have one daughter, Taylor and also have a menagerie of animals.


Cliff Miller

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer, Crematory Licensee

Cliff currently serves as the Chairman for the Lenoir County Board of Health, is a member of Ram Neuse Lions Club, Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge #304, and Lenoir County Shrine Club. 


A native of Lenoir County, he has one daughter Katelyn, and is engaged to Cindy Cole of Kinston. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing softball and golfing.
